Producing our own Power now – about 15% of it

Solar power is getting more and more popular around here. Many new houses come with panels on the roof already. Our house is too old for that. We’d have to replace the roof first.

But we can still play: two solar panels out in front of our patio will render 1,000 Wp on a sunny day. We’re feeding up to 200W into the house and any overage into our battery storage. That way we make sure there is zero feed-in for the public grid.
