Lost in Translation?

“Free” social media feeds are the place were “cheap” ads will be placed in hopes of getting “rich quick” by selling some kind of useless junk to the uneducated masses. Like you and me.

It’s becoming harder and harder to read any real content on these pages because ads for fake products are taking up 90% of the useable screen space. mole on a hillI made the mistake of interacting with the post, asking (in German) if this would also help against the very invasive moles in my neighbors back yard.

Now my feed is full of ads for this product from dozens of different vendors. All talking about “Maulwürfe”. Maybe I need to do a few searches on how to eliminate moles in the back yard, just to change the subject for this stupid algorithm.
